Director of Business Development (Managed Services)
We are working with a well-established technology and business process outsourcing (BPO) business based in Africa to hire to the position of Director of Business Development (Managed Services).
While they have a good presence in Africa supporting clients with technology developments and systems integrations (with some focus on the public and Non-Governmental Organisation sectors), they also have a suite of clients in the USA which are largely mid-market companies to whom they offer outsourcing services including customer services, finance and engineering solutions. These are delivered from their centre in a prominent economic hub in Africa. In addition, our client runs Microsoft's only development and testing centre in Africa.
You will work proactively across sectors taking the company’s propositions on BPO and engineering services to organisations. Our client is well positioned to leverage the growing competitiveness of Africa (and in particular the country in which they are headquartered) in the BPO market in terms of price, quality of staff, language skills, and technology capability.
With sound sales experience in the BPO and / or engineering solutions sector, you will bring your enthusiasm and hunger to harness this company’s capabilities amongst US clients. The company is open minded as to where this post holder will be based as long as it is in a major business centre in the USA, and it is expected that this individual will travel as required across the country.
